Timothy CrossAlex was awesome walking me through everything, the loan, incentives, and installation. Easy to get in touch with and answered any questions on concerns I had.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Timothy Cross
Matthew CawthorneI was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne
nalini jairathIt has been just over a year since our solar panels were installed and we remain delighted with the quality of the work as well as the specifics of the associated warranty. We have had no problems/issues with our system. Ryan Cooke, specifically, worked with us to rightsize the project, sort out the specs and serve as our point of contact throughout installation. Since then, whenever we have questions, he has responded effectively and efficiently. He is professional, personable, extremely knowledgeable and responsive. He is also very patient as well sorted out the merits of different "packages" and extremely honest about the pros and cons of each.. We had multiple quotes for our solar panels and chose to work with Ryan and Lumina. Highly recommend!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by nalini jairath
charles grebe jri see all the good reviews, where are the true reviews, i got nothing these people promised, i have their solar and still get big bills from met ed, opposite of what i was told, i was told they put a bigger setup on than needed and i would get money from met ed every year for what they used but instead get bills from met ed, and forget about calling salesman, he never returns calls, wish i never dealt with these people, this month, 167.00 out of my account for lumina and 144.00 bill from met ed, more than i ever paid, single man living aloneReview of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by charles grebe jr

John KikerLumina made getting solar very simple. All we did was say “let’s go “ and the rest was done by them. Township approval, HOA, Electric Co. everything. We just sat back and watched. They were all very professional and Peter Hayes was great, always there when needed. You won’t be disappointedReview of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by John Kiker
Bob SteckbeckOur project for moving to solar energy involved six different companies who install solar panels. Using the information I learned from my personal research on the topic, a questionnaire I configured to pull out the details from each company, and a spreadsheet where I was able to store both objective and subjective information I was able to get a quick summary of the information and data I received from each company and do a visual comparison. Knowing which manufacturers produce the best solar panels and microinverters, and which products the installation companies use in their systems are certainly major factors in making the final decision. But reading detailed reviews from their clients and discussing the facts with the sales person should play an important part in the process. I found Christopher Richardson, our sales person, to be both knowledgeable and forthcoming in the information he provided. After looking at all the pieces from the potential installers I found that Lumina stood out both in terms of using top-rated equipment and simplifying the process through to the time of activation. My work as a customer ended at the point at which we selected Lumina and signed our contract. Afterwards their team carried the project to site survey, obtaining all necessary permits, installing the panels and electrical equipment, working with our local power supplier, and setting up warranties and certificates. In our observation we found that all employees of Lumina (salesman, system engineers and designers, schedulers, installation and inspection teams and project administrator) worked together seamlessly. We are now truly basking in the sun and seeing our solar production meet and exceed our electrical consumption.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Bob Steckbeck

After multiple quotes from different solar companies, I knew nobody could be better than Phil and Lumina Solar. I recommend Lumina Solar to everyone!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Hamad Saleemi
Michael VanHeystWe could not have been more impressed with Lumina solar sales and installers. Phil was an expert on all things solar and answered all of our questions and laid out great options for our instal. We were incredibly impressed by the installers. They worked with us to hide the wiring to the meter and were in and out in one day. Most impressively they roped off their area of work so that my kids did not get to their equipment and they picked up every last bit of trash behind them. The solar system is saving us $$ everyday and we could not be more happy with it.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Michael VanHeyst
Greg SchnaarGreat experience, everything went smoothly and Lumina has been very communicative throughout. I highly recommend this firm.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Greg Schnaar
